The Dubai CrossFit Championship 2018 qualifiers have already ended and it's just time to prepare for the competition that will take place from December 12 to 15 . Who are we going to see in this official competition of the CrossFit Games 2019?
As you already know, the 2019 CrossFit Games have a new feature: the preselection of finalist athletes through official international competitions.
The first of these is the Dubai CrossFit Championship, an internationally renowned competition that, this year, has the official support ofCrossFit R Inc.
What does this support consist of?
That the winners obtain a direct place in next year's Games .
Who are we going to see at the Dubai CrossFit Championship 2018?
Among the 37 male athletes, the 37 female athletes and the 10 teams, we have seen a good handful of internationally known names.
Among the boys, we have 2018 on Earth fittestMat Fraser , along with another Games winner, Ben Smith .
If we continue the list, we can also see the Icelandic BK Gundmundsson , Annie Thorisdottir's boyfriend, Frederick Aegidius , as well as the South African Ruan Duvenage and the Frenchman WillyGeorge .
All of them were already at the Games. Who will return to the official CrossFit competition next year?
As for the girls, we see the dottirs, Annie Thorisdottir and Sara Sigmundsdottir , along with another compatriot who is little by little emerging on the international crossfit scene: Helga Eik Gylfadottir .
In addition, we have among the 37 finalists of the Dubai CrossFit Championship known names such as Carmen Bosmans , Emma McQuaid , Laura Horvath and Sam Briggs , our favorite.
If we take a look at the list of teams, made up of two boys and two girls, there is a champion team for PicSil: CASSIDY, JEN, ADRIAN, LUKAS .
The Swiss CrossFit Kreis 9 team is made up of PicSil athletes Adrian Mundwiler, Lukas Esslinger and Jen Smith ; completed by Cassidy Lance-McWherter .
