What is the origin of the hero wods
When we talk about hero wods , we are referring to workouts that are named after soldiers who died in combat in the United States. On many occasions the workout itself is like this because it is a training that the soldier in question did, as for example happens with the Murph, one of the most famous (we will see what it is like later). And on other occasions the wods simply bear the name of a soldier to honor his memory. Cross training has always had a very close relationship with the military world and also with the different security forces of a country, since on many occasions they prepare with this sporting discipline. For that same reason, the wink is made to put them. This hero wod honors the 7 CIA agents who fell after the bomb explosion in Afghanistan. That's why its name 'The Seven" or "The Seven" translated.
