Who has won the Dubai CrossFit Championship 2018?

In the men's category, it is clear that Mat Fraser was not going to pass up the opportunity to return to Madison to defend his Fittest on Earth title.

In the women's category, the competition was closer but the veteran and PicSil athlete Sam Briggs managed to earn her direct pass to the 2019 Games, despite a competition with many ups and downs, especially if we talk about the WOD of Olympic lifts. As for the teams, the members of Invictus had it all, staying almost always in the top 3 and winning three events. This is the podium for the Dubai CrossFit Championship 2018. Men's singles:

  • Matt Fraser
  • BK Gudmundson (!!!)
  • Willy Georges (France)
Women's singles:
  • Sam Briggs
  • Jamie Greene
  • Sara Sigmundsdottir

  • Invictus
  • Team Omnicide (USA)
  • Cassidy, Jen, Adrian, Lukas (PicSil Team)

And the PICSIL athletes?

For us, it was a pleasure to participate in the Dubai CrossFit Championship as an official sponsor of the competition but also as a sponsor of several athletes who gave their all in the 10 events. Having Sam Briggs as a PicSil athlete is already an honor, but for her to be the winner of this edition is already something incredible. Congratulations Sam on your performance and good luck at the Games! Also recently incorporated into the PicSil flagship club: BK Gudmundsson . Although he did not manage to defend his title of winner in this edition against Mat Fraser, BKG does not leave the podium and has had an excellent competition. !! Congratulations!! Finally, the PicSil team composed of Adrian Mundwiller, Lukas Esslinger, Jen Smith and completed with Cassidy Lance-Wherther also joins the winning trio of teams with third place. At PicSil we have also celebrated like crazy the victory of event 6. Great job guys! This is what happened at the Dubai CrossFit Championship 2018.
