The Meridian Regionals are held in Madrid for the third consecutive year but, this time, the Caja Mágica will host athletes from southern Europe, Africa and the Middle East. From PICSIL , we cannot miss this event, especially after having such a good time in Berlin. Will we see you at the stand?
Why visit us at Meridian Regionals?
This time you have it easier to discover PICSIL products and enjoy our promotions. You just have to look for our stand inside the Caja Mágica, the venue that hosts the Meridian Regionals 2018. What will you find? The Azor Grips that you have seen in the hands of Sam Briggs at the Open, in addition to all our CrossFit material and clothing. You can also try the fastest jump ropes in the world, Anna Rope and Bee Rope . Still don't think they're that fast? We put you to the test at the PicSil stand with our two challenges:
- Make the maximum number of turns with Anna
- Perform the maximum number of double unders in one minute
Who are we going to see at the Meridian Regionals?
This event will have much more excitement for us since, not only will we be able to see many Spanish athletes in action, we will also see PICSIL athletes fighting for one of the four men's, women's and team places for this summer's final in the United States. We remind you who you can see at the Caja Mágica in Madrid. Among the Spanish male athletes we will see Alex Anasagasti – best classified in southern Europe –, Rubén Insua , Sam Lubben and Marc Ordeig ; along with the Frenchman Stéphane Ossanga – winner of the Spanish Throwdown 2015 – and Lukas Esslinger , our protégé. Lukas' track record is very enviable:- 19th CrossFit Games 2017
- 21st CrossFit Games 2016
- 4 time Regionals athlete
- 6 times Regionals Athlete
- 41st in the world after the Regionals +35
This year it debuts in the Masters +40 category, a new challenge that will motivate you to give your best in each WOD. Best of luck, Hannah!
As for the teams, Spain has managed to qualify five and allow more athletes from the Spanish crossfit scene to fight for a place in the 2018 Games.
