Mat Fraser and Tia-Clair Toomey win the Games again

Mat Fraser climbs for the fourth time and Tia-Clair Toomey for the third consecutive time on the first place on the podium at the 2019 CrossFit Games . Additionally, Toomey makes history by being the first woman to win the fittest on Earth title three years in a row .

The new type of competition has not been enough to dethrone Fraser and Toomey, who demonstrated strength, technique and intelligence in the 11 WODs of the 2019 Games.

Who do we miss in the Top 10 events of the Games 2019?

This year's qualifiers have seen new athletes reach the final of the Games, to the misfortune of other more well-known faces.

Among the girls, they were left out:

  • Sara Sigmundsdottir (20th)
  • Sam Briggs (18th)
  • Brooke Wells (16th)
  • Laura Horvath 15th
  • Annie Thorisdottir (12th)
The Dottirs will have to get their act together if they want to return to the Top 10 next year.

And among the boys:

  • Lukas Högberg (17th)
  • Patrick Vellner (16th)

Many of these eliminated athletes were stunned by such a result and reflected on it on their Instagram accounts.

The 2019 season ends but 2020 does not begin with the Open that begins in October. To train!
